Our 1Culture

We Malaysian have live in peace and harmony for almost 53 years now. Malays, Chinese, Indians, and other Races (Orang Asli and Indigenous people).

Malays consist of half of population of Malaysian also known as the Bumipetera. By defination all Malays are Muslim. Within Malaysian society there is a Malay culture, a Chinese culture, an Indian culture, a Eurasian culture, along with the culture of the indigenous groups of the peninsula and north Borneo. The important social distinction in the emergent national culture is between Malay and non-Malay, represented bytwo groups: the Malay elite that dominates the country's politics and the largely Chinese middle class whose prosperous lifestyle leads Malaysia's shift to a consumer society. The two groups mostly live in the urban areas of the Malay Peninsular's west coast and their sometimes competing, sometimes parallel influences shape the shared life of Malaysia's citizens. Sarawak and Sabah, the two Malaysian states located in north Borneo. tend to be less a influential part of the national culture, and their vibrant local cultures are shouded by the bigger whealthier peninsular society.

Malaysians observe number of holiday and festivities throughout the year some holiday are federally gazetted public holiday and some are public holiday observed by individual states. Other festival are observed by particular ethnic or religion groups but are not public holiday.

The most celebrate holiday is the "Hari Kebangsaan"(Independant Day) otherwise known as "Merdeka"(Freedom) on 31 August commemorating the independence of the Faderation of Malaya in 1957, while Malaysia Day is only celebrated in the state of Sabah on 16 September to commemorate the formation of Malaysian in 1963. Hari Merdeka as well as Labour Day (1 May) the King birthday (first Saturday of June) and some other festival are public holiday.

Muslims in Malaysia celebrate Muslim Holiday. The most celebrate festival, Hari Raya Puasa (also call Hari Raya Aidilfitri) is the Malay translation of Eid al-Fith. It is generally a festival honoured by the Muslim worldwide marking the end of Ramadan the fasting month. thye sight of the new moon determines the end of Ramadan. This determines the new momth therefore the end of the fasting month. In additional to Hari Raya Puasa they also celebrate Hari Raya Haji (also called Hari Raye Aidiladha the translate Eid ul-Adha) Awal Muharram (Islamic New Year) and Maulidur Rasul (Birthday of the Prophet).

Our Activity

Last Saturday, 28th August 2010 or 13th Ramadhan 1431H. W Zek Photography team has invited members of SAZA Homemade Choco, Mesdames Collection and Crispy & Creamy House to a "Berbuka Puasa" event at our house. It was an exciting and fun event. They arrived one hour before "Berbuka Puasa" and help in setting the food that have been cooked for us. There are a lot of dishes that were prepared and bought such as "Nasi Ayam, Murtabak, Roti John and others". Together with the "Berbuka Puasa" event we also celebrated the birthday of two peoples, one from SAZA Homemade Choco, Baizura and the other from Crispy & Creamy House, Hafizah. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS. They all returned after being at our house for two and a half hours.

HOW To Choose A Digital Camera

Everybody can take a good picture, other than skills, camera does play an important role in getting one. It can be digital or normal camera. Digital camera is much more easier since it can show fast results. So how to get a good digital camera.

An expensive brand name does make us think of good reliability and quality. But sometimes inexpensive one will give you higher satisfaction as the expensive one. Yes sometimes good brand name does ensure high quality but satisfaction can also come from an inexpensive item. So , what we should look for from a camera is it's reliability and quality in which we can get from inexpensive camera

Then, decide on choosing either point and shoot or digital SLR. This is more on technicality, you can ask the seller to advice you on which one is better, but be carefull seller operates on profit basis, so make sure your preferences is prioritised.

Choosing a camera with a good grip is a good decision. Cramping hand does not take good pictures. To large camera make the picture taking moment difficult, unless you have a big hand than it is more suitable, for smaller hand you should go with smaller camera.

Don't think of megapixels too much. Quality of pixels is much more important rather than the number. sometimes small number of megapixes take a better quality pictures.

If you are thinking about fast all the time, you should choose the higher quality camera because it have no time lag in taking pictures. Camera that takes long time to take another pictures is not so good, but those who have patience can try them.

Choice of battery should not be AA or AAA sized battery cause it is not chargeable. A lite camera is easy to bring anywhere.

These tips can help in choosing the right camera but tips are tips. The main thing that should be considered in choosing a digital camera the outcome of your purchase whether you like it or not and whether it takes good pictures or not. Hope this is useful for amateur or even professional photographers.

P/S: In 2009 10 Best Digital Cameras, the second good camera is less expensive than the other top ten cameras.
